KUMC Kids

At KUMC, it’s GREAT to be a kid! Check out some of the exciting programs and events we have especially for you. (Oh…and it’s okay for Mom and Dad to look, too!)

Sunday School

Sunday, 10:00 a.m. Join us! Fun, interactive classes are offered for all ages.

Nursery

Nursery is offered during both services and Sunday School for children age 3 and under. Our nursery is professionally managed by both paid staff and volunteers.

KIDS Worship (Kids In a Dedicated Service)

On Sundays children from ages 4 through 4th grade will be invited to attend the child friendly service where the children will learn all the aspect of “regular” worship but in a child friendly environment. Then when they move into 5th grade and stay for “regular” service they will be acquainted with the order of worship already!

Children's Choir

Do you like singing or playing instruments? During the traditional school year our children will get to explore many different talents of our children. We are currently doing a survey to see when the best time would be for all participants for the 2016/17 season. Please click HERE to participate!

Big Kids for Christ

1st & 3rd Sunday, 5:00 p.m. during traditional school year. Geared for 3rd – 5th graders, a high energy program of study, games, and crafts designed to help you grow closer to God and to each other.

Seasonal Activities: Throughout the year, you can look forward to awesome special events and seasonal activities such as:
  • Fall Festival
  • Breakfast with Santa
  • Easter Egg Hunt
  • Vacation Bible School
  • Created By God

Worship Leadership

Our children, of all ages, learn how to lead and participate in worship in a variety of ways: as children’s ushers, greeters, acolytes, etc.

Scouting

KUMC sponsors Boys and Girls Scout troops that meet periodically during the week. Refer to the calendar for a detailed schedule or link here for more information about our sponsored Boy Scout Troop 365. Scouting is FUN – get involved!

We offer nursery care for our Sunday and weekday programming staffed by committed and trained professionals and volunteers.
