A community of women who nurture and encourage one another in their spiritual growth, personal leadership and transformation.

PURPOSE

The Christmas Chorale is perfect for those who simply cannot make the full-year commitment to the Chancel Choir or who are interested in taking a “test drive” of the KUMC Music Ministry to see what it’s all about. This group meets on a limited basis to prepare for the Christmas program (typically from mid to late August to mid-December of each year). For those with limited time but willing hearts and voices, this can be a wonderful opportunity to participate in the music ministry of the church. Currently this group is rehearsing on Sunday afternoons from 5:30 p.m. in the Worship Room.

COMMUNITY

Through our monthly circle meetings we share in God’s word for spiritual nourishment, we pray for our church family and friends, we fellowship in God’s love for emotional and physical support and we experience God’s world through outreach in church, community and global mission.

Friendship Circle: 1st Thursday evenings – 7:00pm

Morning Circle: 2nd Tuesday morning – 10:00am

MISSION PROJECTS

We participate in many mission and outreach projects. Our current list of projects includes the following:

Health, Layette, School, Sewing Kits, Flood Buckets for MERCI in Goldsboro
Collecting food items for the KUMC Food Pantry
Box Tops for Education to donate to Lockhart Elementary
Unused cell phone collection for Women’s Crisis Centers
Labels for Education to donate to Methodist University in Fayetteville
Collection & donation of unused eyeglasses to World Mission
Participation in UMW’s Recommended Reading Program
School supplies for local area students. See our Supply List
